Youth Day

Facebook won't allow me to upload the pictures, so here's some.

Some pictures from Youth Day with weiyi. I just realised i havent uploaded any pictures onto this blog in a really long time. Anyway, since it was youth day and there was no school we decided to do some typical teenager things. Basically, we watched a movie, shopped and camwhored at Orchard.
We watched Duplicity after my persuasive skills failed me ! I really want to watch Transformers 2 (big fan of Transformers here) but O level chinese oral is approaching and everything so i dont know if i'll go out till wednesday. Hopefully i can go out tomorrow but i have a dance meeting and gen doesn't want to watch Transfomers 2 with me ! Actually nobody does because everybody heard its a sucky movie, but i still want to wach it anyway. Duplicity wasn't so bad. It was one of those neutral movies where you dont mind if you watch it or not. What i didn't like about Duplicity was that it kept going back a few months to show you the relationship of the two main character's.

Both of us were late for the movie as beforehand we could not find a decent place to eat. Despite my complaints, we walked all the way to Heeren in Singapore's humid warm weather ( and i was wearing a black cardigan) to find Fish & Co. When we got to the top floor of Heeren, we hung around Fish & Co. wondering if it was open which wasted about 5 minutes. Realising it was probably closed we went down the escalator. We tried to discuss a new place to eat but paragon Sushi Tei was too far and we didn't have much time till the movie. So we went up again to double check if Fish & Co. was closed and it was. (Like the blur people we are.)
Unfortunately it was, so we walked back to Heeren and settled for an unhealthy KFC meal.
It's funny how i'm always late for movies when im going out with my friends but when i go out with my family we are always there before the advertisement's start.

After the movie we did some shopping till we were fairly worn out before heading over to starbucks and indulging in an icy cold blended java chips which was probably worth 600 calories while eating Famous Amos cookies. Since my mum rang and told me to go for tuition, i left in a taxi. (not before camwhoring though ;D )

I love Youth Day.
They should celebrate it more :O

Weiyi- the one who shouldn't carry crumpler bags ( i may be weird but when i saw her carrying my bag i just burst out laughing :O )
